On the chilly Saturday morning of January 10th, eighty-two runners of all ages took their starting mark at the Oakland Nature Preserve 3-Mile Trail Run/Walk. Friends, families, groups and children trekked through the winding trails of the Preserve. ONP volunteers, board members, and staff helped the race flow smoothly. All proceeds from the Trail Run benefit the Preserve. Everyone was a winner by finishing strong within an hour. Todd Lytle

Clermont/Minneola Lions Club has moved their date for the monthly gun shoot to January 24, 2015. The Lions are having their District Meeting at Minneola City Hall on January 17th and had to move the date for the gun shoot. The gun shoot is open to the public and is held across the street from Tractor Supply in Groveland on Route 50. We have turkey shoot and skeet shooting available.
