Cade…International Dog of Mystery. Hola from Cade! Handsome Cade originally came from Colombia, South America and came to the United States to be a working dog. He followed in the footsteps of a couple of other dogs and chose cuddles and affection over working, and came to Houndhaven to find his forever home. We’ve allowed him to be a silly, lovable dog and promised him we would find him a loving family that would do just the same!
Cade is a 2 year old, gorgeous yellow lab. He weighs 80 pounds and is an energetic, happy boy. Cade enjoys playing in the kiddie pool at events, loves toys and really enjoys spending time with people. He enjoyed playing with the puppies when they were here, and pals around with several different dogs including Mason and Bella.
Cade is a smart boy…he knows “sit” and “down”, takes treats nicely, and likes to play fetch. He walks nicely on a leash and is very eager to please. Cade loves to snuggle with the volunteers – he’s the perfect combination of playful and snuggly, happy and silly.
If you’ve been looking for a great new companion for your family, Cade is the one for you! Please visit www.houndhaven.org to review our adoption policies and procedures, and complete an application.

Meet Dakota! This stunning girl is just 2 months old! Dakota is a very sweet “Heinz 57” Blend – we think she’s a mix of Labrador, Heeler, Beagle, and maybe Catahoula or American Bulldog. She’ll be a large-sized dog (50+ lbs) once she’s fully grown. Dakota is a very special pup. She’s deaf! But she hasn’t let being deaf get in the way of all her puppy fun – she still loves playing with her siblings, chewing on toys, and cuddling with her humans. Dakota is one of 5 puppies, and the only deaf one in the litter. We hope she finds her forever home soon!
Come on out and adopt me or one of my friends! There are on average 150 dogs and 50 cats waiting for families to discover them at The Animal League!
