Event Benefits Sunshine Foundation
Apr 6 @ 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Central Florida Brewfest 2019 and Revolution Off Road proudly support the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village. Tickets on sale now for Saturday, April 6th, 2019. Gates open V.I.P 12:00PM and general admission at 12:30PM-4:30PM. For more event information and to purchase tickets visit their website at www.cflbrewfest.com.
The event offers live music, food trucks, prize raffle and free parking. The Sunshine Foundation answers the dreams of children living with life-long chronic illnesses, physical challenges, or the trauma of abuse. The children travel to Central Florida with their families to visit the Central Florida theme parks. One of the highlights of the trip is the family’s stay at the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village, a 22-acre resort with themed cottages equipped for the special needs of young people.
The Sunshine Foundation provides these Dream Come True trips for children that are turned away from other wish granting organizations that require a life-threatening or terminal diagnosis. Sunshine Foundation relies on the generosity of donations from individuals and corporations to make these dreams a reality.
Since 1976, Sunshine Foundation has spread Sunshine into the lives of more than 40,000 children in the United States, and it remains one of the nation’s top-rated wish-granting charities serving the terminally ill or chronically ill.

Sunshine State Superkids
Apr 13 all-day

We are a traveling soap box derby event for the children with disabilities, and the program is free to all children. We will be the Manheim Auto Auction at 8025 Fl. Hwy 33 Lakeland April 13. Sunshine State Superkids and Norelli Family Foundation have put together a program that brings everything out for the children to race. We will have all the cars, helmets, ramps, drinks and food (mini muffins and pizza) for the day.
This program was developed first for the families who have children with disabilities and crazy medical bills. We thought we could make a difference in the children’s life and the family, even if was once or twice a year. Then the program looked at all the children sitting in foster care, so we call all the foster group homes and foster groups to come out to be part of the day. This program opens the door for the families that have a child that has disabilities and siblings a chance to do something together. The program looks for drivers from the age of 7 years old to 18 years old and the child with disabilities is open.
The cars have 2 seats for a driver and passenger. They are built to open in half for a child in a wheel chair. We also carry extra wheel chairs so someone does not need to run back and forth with their chair. All the cars are equipped with 4 pt. race harnesses on the passenger side of the car, if there is a child that can not sit up with out help. We also have head rests in the trailer for the child that needs one to hold their heads up. We have tried to make this very safe for all the children able to participate, we include all the helmets.
This is a fun day out for the children and families. The smiles, laughter and giggles are heart-warming and this is why we do this. With the help of Norelli Family Foundation and many local community companies have supported Sunshine State Superkids, we can give your community this event.
If you would like more information, please contact John (Director) at 352-988-5449 or email sunshinestatesuperkids@gmail.com. We have sponsorship information on the www.sunshinestatesuperkids.com website, get involved with our program.
