    1. Ovarian Cancer Support Group
      5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Ovarian Cancer Support Group of Polk is our name but we are here for all surrounding counties. The group was formed to support, encourage, empower & provide a place where women and their caregivers can express their fears, concerns and treatments.
Ovarian cancer does not have the amount of following or support as breast cancer; however the mortality rate is much higher. This leaves ovarian cancer fighters feeling hopeless and alone. Our goal as a group is to get the word out that they are not alone and provide awareness to the community about this “silent killer” while supporting our warrior sisters in the battle for their lives.
Our meetings are held the last Monday of each month at Watson Clinic Cancer Center from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with guest speakers, light refreshments and high energy.
We can be reached at ovcas2015@gmail.com or our Facebook page Ovarian Cancer Support Group of Polk Fl.
