Our First Anniversary - One Year Together

Aquarelle Kids Academy invites you to join us in celebration of our first year anniversary on Saturday, April 25, at our child care center. At Aquarelle Kids Academy, we maintain a warm and loving atmosphere and are committed to educational excellence. Thanks to the tremendous support of our community, our center has been very successful. Nearly all of our slots are filled and we have a waiting list for some classrooms. We are considering opening a second location in the near future. Keep watching our advertising for further information.

The center opened on April 30, 2008, with an initial enrollment of 30 children. During our first year, enrollment has grown to more than 150 children. The center is open from 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We follow state-mandated ratios of trained teachers to children. Team teaching is the approach in each classroom.

We focus on the needs of families and the local community. This year, we took part in several community service projects. We collected used eyeglasses for the Lions Club, we held a canned food drive at Thanksgiving for local needy families, we participated in the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Trike-A-Thon and we collected gift items for Operation Christmas Child to give to needy children in the local community.

All of our staff members take courses in early childhood education or related studies. They have all been trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid.
