DreamCatcher Horse Ranch Cleans up in Junior Division at
Lake Louisa Obstacle Challenge!
On March 21, 2009 at the Annual Lake Louisa Equestrian
Obstacle Challenge, DreamCatcher Horse Ranch's junior riders won
1st, 2nd and 4th place in the junior division.
Congratulations to Loran Wheatley on Chip, 1st place, Morgan Wiles
on Crimson, 2nd place and Sarah Walker on Little Girl, 4th place
- excellent job, girls! This was the first time DreamCatcher riders
entered into the challenge and we are very proud of our girls for
doing a great job!
All had a great day and lots of fun - with 6 miles of trails in
the park and 10 obstacles along the way to test you and your horses'
skills and judgment as a team. Many thanks to our fantastic trainer,
Kathleen Young of Clermont, and to all the volunteers from Friends
of Lake Louisa, who made this special day possible for all involved.
DreamCatcher Horse Ranch is located in the Clermont/Minneola area
and offers quality and caring horse boarding. We have a variety
of horses available for lease, by the hour, and for lessons. DreamCatcher
offers western and English instruction from beginner pleasure to
advanced hunter/jumper. All ages and levels welcome.
Horses are also for sale or we can help you find the right horse
for you. We have a relaxed and fun atmosphere at the barn and you
can learn at your own pace. We have a full size clay arena suitable
for dressage with jumps available. You can also trail directly off
property for hours of riding pleasure.
We have taken in rescue cases and bought unwanted horses and are
retraining them into family pleasure/ show horses. Why not come
visit to see what we have to offer and see Belarion, our special
ex racehorse, Frank, an event horse, Johnny, old schoolmaster and
many more including our miniature horses - Peanut the stallion,
and Misty, who gave birth to a beautiful filly on April 1st - what
a 'fool' Mommy made of us all!
We offer custom made birthday parties, barn experience parties
for any age, corporate visits to the barn for a tour, ride and lunch,
lessons from basic to higher level hunter/jumper, horse riding by
the hour or lease a horse monthly, trail riding summer camp/day
experience, and more!
