Four Corners Chiropractic Centers

Four Corners Chiropractic Centers would like to welcome and introduce Dr. Katherine Coudray, as your new family acupuncturist. Dr. Coudray was born and raised in Linkoping, Ostergotland, Sweden, moved to the USA in 1988, started her medical career as a dietitian, and graduated in 1997 from Gainesville, Florida with a Doctor Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Coudray practices Alternative Medicine with Acupuncture, Herbal and Homeopathic Medicines this also includes Meso-Therapies or Bio-puncture Medicine.

"First of all," says Dr. Coudray, "people's perception of acupuncture is that we mostly treat pain. Most people are not aware that acupuncture can make them calm, relaxed, and help them through tough emotional times. People are not familiar with the powerful emotional support that acupuncture can offer."

"I recently treated Dr. Barnhart's sinuses and he was pleased with the results after just one treatment."

Here's what Dr. Barnhart had to say: "I have brought Dr. Coudray into our office as our new acupuncturist after she treated me for sinus problems. I am not sure if I had allergies or just congested sinus. I would have constant pain and congestion between my eye brows and under my eyes that was on and off for a few weeks. I carried a nasal spray with me from The Herb Shop. I used it daily. I also had my facial bones adjusted regularly and I decided to try a 30 minute treatment with Dr. Coudray. I found her to be an excellent physician, very knowledgeable and the acupuncture session was very relaxing. I am happy to say that with a combination of herbs, chiropractic and acupuncture, I now have very little congestion problems. I recommend this combination to my patients for any of their sinus problems."

Acupuncture is an excellent alternative therapy for many other health issues such as depression, fertility, headache, back pain, IBS, digestion problems, PMS, pain from auto injuries and even quitting smoking.

The most common questions asked are about the needles used. Most people have encountered hypodermic needles and sewing needles. Both types are gigantic compared to the ones used for acupuncture. In fact, five acupuncture needles could easily fit inside a hypodermic needle! Most people do not feel anything and experience a variety of post-session feelings, which range from energized to a deep sense of relaxation and well-being.

The ultra-fine, sterile needles are inserted at special points on your body along the energy pathways. These are known as meridians.

Your energy pathways or meridians can sometimes experience a "log jam" and energy flow is restricted. The needles help loosen the logjam and allow energy to circulate properly.

If you are still unsure about acupuncture needles then try Dr. Coudray's needle-less treatment using electrical stimulation.

Come join Dr.Coudray on Thursdays for a mini session known as 'Acupuncture Happy Hour.' This is a 20 minute treatment session for $25. Most insurances are accepted. To make an appointment call Four Corner Chiropractic Centers at 352-394-7771.
