Tuscana Tavern in Champions Gate

Welcomes Chef Robert Smith Robert Smith, formerly employed by the Disney Swan & Dolphin Hotel,  is joining the new owners of the Tuscana Tavern, David and Janet  Gallacher, in the role of Executive Chef.

The Tuscana Tavern poolside bar/restaurant is located within the  Tuscana Resort in Champions Gate (minutes from exit 58 off the I-4)  and is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to close. The Tuscana Tavern is  fast becoming known for their first class menu at favorable prices  with a friendly team dedicated to ensuring the experience, whether  dining or just "hanging out" is a fun one.

Robert said of his appointment, "From the moment I met David and  Janet, I was immediately attracted to their simple but successful  philosophy which is to offer great food combined with great service  and in a great location."

He continued, "One of my first priorities was to review the menu and  make some minor adjustments. The menu created by David is a good one  and has been well received by our clientele. Our updated menu will be  available starting Saturday, May 16th, and we are so keen to share it  with customers that we invite any readers to join us between 5 and 7  p.m. on May 16th for a FREE sample of our most popular dishes. No  need to call, just turn up and enjoy our food and hospitality."

Breakfast includes the infamous "Dave's monster breakfast," a  veritable feast for those from across the pond, and includes black &  white pudding & Heinz baked beans! The lunch menu includes classics  such as the ribeye sandwich, sampler platter and of course the  classic burger. Dinner includes haddock & chips, some of the finest  in Florida, ribeye steak, ribs and pork chops.
