Pastfinders Genealogical Society of South Lake

Due to JANUARY ONLY library scheduling conflict, Pastfinders general meeting will be WEDNESDAY, Jan. 11, 2012, 5-7 PM, Conference Room 108, Cooper Memorial Library. Our speaker is to be Susan Mitchell from the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida in Maitland. Susan will be speaking about the Holocaust and about a DVD of survivor's testimonies about their Holocaust. experiences.

Computer Users Group meets Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, 1 PM, Room 221, 2nd floor, Cooper Memorial Library and free classes are offered as below. upstairs in Special Collections Room.

General Help Classes: Tues. Jan 3 11AM-2 PM, Thurs Jan 5, 9:30AM-Noon, Tues. Jan 17 11AM - 2PM, Thurs. Jan 19 9:30AM-Noon, Tues. Jan 24 11AM-2PM, Tues. Jan, 31, 11AM-2PM.

Wed. Jan. 4 Basic Genealogy Forms - **Class begins promptly at 10am. Bring pencil, eraser, your notes with names, dates, etc. Be prepared for small fee for forms.

Wed. Jan. 18 Other Research forms - **Class begins promptly at 10am (see above for what to bring)

Thurs. Jan 26 Census Records 9:30- Noon. Interested guests and visitors are welcome at all events.
