Formal Dresses, Decorations and Volunteers Needed for Summer Prom

Building Blocks Ministries, Inc. a nonprofit provider serving adults with disabilities is hosting a summer Prom for adults and teens with disabilities. To make the event a memorable one we are asking for gently used formal dresses sizes 10-28. The Prom will be held on Saturday, July 30th, 2011 at Jenkins Auditorium in downtown Clermont from 6-9 PM. The theme, chosen by the members of Building Blocks Client Council, is "It's a Small World". The auditorium will be decorated with decor that is representative of different parts of the world which include Italy, Mexico, Asia, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

We are still in need of decorations to complete the decor for the evening. We would appreciate items that could be borrowed for this event. Food for the evening is centered on these themes and is being donated and prepared by volunteers. Other volunteers are needed for decorating. Your donations or volunteer support will be greatly appreciated by the staff and clients of Building Blocks. Donations are being accepted at 835 Seventh Street, Building B, Suites 1 and 2 in Clermont.
