DSA Presents A Christmas Carol

Davenport School of the Arts will be putting on the well known classic, "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. Two casts of 2nd through 8th grade students will perform the 6 shows that will take place over two weekends. Mr. Robert Moszenberg, one of DSA's drama teachers will direct the 60 students participating. Garret Turlington and Sean Solis will be playing the part of Ebenezer Scrooge and Ryan Rodriguez and Anthony Hannan will be playing Tiny Tim.
Opening night Gala will be on Friday, December 2nd at 7pm and the cost is $7. Other performances include: Sat. December 3rd at 2pm and 7 pm, Friday December 9th at 7pm as well as Saturday December 10th at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets for these performances are $5. Tickets may be purchased before (7:45-8:15) or after school (3-3:30) Monday through Friday at the Theater box office located at the Davenport School of the Arts campus on Hwy 547 or prior to any performance. Tickets are assigned seating so buy your tickets early for best seating choices!
Davenport School of the Arts is proud to be partnering with the United States Marines Toys For Tots program this year! Don't be a "Scrooge"...bring a new, unwrapped toy to the performance to donate to a child in need! The United States Marines will be coming to the final performance for DSA's presentation of all toys donated to this wonderful cause! So come join the DSA Drama Department to get into the Christmas spirit. The performance is guaranteed to put a smile on your face, and your donation will leave a smile in your heart!
