Alpha Course

What is the meaning of life? What happens when I die? How do I deal with guilt? Woodlands Lutheran Church is gearing up to offer another 10 week Alpha Course at its location in Montverde. Over the years hundreds of people have taken Alpha at Woodlands (millions have taken it worldwide). Alpha is a practical introduction to the Christian faith. Here's what people say about the program: "new refreshing look at our faith;" "just the pure Word of God and its effect on us;" "growth, fellowship, fun, knowledge and understanding." Alpha is for everyone... People wanting answers to the "questions of life," people interested in understanding Christianity, newcomers to the church; people wanting to refresh their knowledge of Christianity. The Alpha Course meets every week for ten weeks with one Saturday workshop. Join friends for dinner then watch a series of DVDs that address topics such as, Does God Heal Today? Why and How Do I Pray, Who is Jesus? ...and more. After each talk there is a small group discussion time and dessert! This course includes FREE dinner, FREE babysitting and FREE study materials.
