The Friends of Cooper Memorial Library are ringing in the holiday season with a bus trip on December 14 to Bok Tower and Gardens where guests will tour the beautifully decorated grounds while being serenaded by the carillon bells. The tour includes a visit to Pinewood Estate and box lunch. After lunch, we will travel to the historic Jacaranda Hotel in Avon Park having the distinction of being the oldest, continuously operating hotel in Highland County. Enjoy a bountiful dinner buffet while surrounded by the beautiful holiday atmosphere of the hotel.
The bus will depart from the Library, 2525 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont at 9:30 AM sharp returning around 8:00 PM. The cost of the trip is $100.00 which includes round trip motor coach transportation, admission fees, meals, taxes, service charges, driver gratuity and donation to the Library for current and future programs.
