Cagan Crossings Library has so much to be thankful for this holiday season, especially the support of our wonderful patrons and visitors. Please make a note that the library closes at 5:00 on November 22 and remains closed until Monday, November 27 when normal activities resume. For information on any library services or events, please call (352)243-1840, or search online at www.mylakelibrary.org where you can also find a monthly calendar of events.
The Youth Services Department offers lots of fun and relaxing options during this busy month. On Tuesdays, visit preschool story time at 11:00, or drop by baby and toddler story time on Thursdays, also at 11:00. Also on Wednesdays caregivers can bring the little ones to Nursery Rhyme Yoga, Preschool Playgroup, or Shimmy, Shake, and Dance story time. Check the events calendar online or pick up a children’s calendar at the library for all the times and details.
Mondays are always busy at Cagan where the KIndred Stitchers sewing and quilting group meets at 1:00. Later at 5:00 the Chess Club gathers with Mr. John followed by the Cagan Coloring Club at 6:00. Remember that no library card is required for any of these special activities.
The very productive Chronicles of Yarnia crochet and knitting group meets as usual at 4:00 on Thursdays. All skill levels are welcome!
November is a great time to join the Cagan Crossings Friends of the Library. It’s simple–just fill out a brochure available in the lobby or at the circulation desk, or visit www.caganfriends.com.
The library is located at 16729 Cagan Oaks in the heart of the Four Corners community.
