Do you love the outdoors, enjoy meeting new people and have a few hours a week to volunteer? Oakland Nature Preserve located in Oakland, Florida is looking for adults that are interested in learning about the history, wildlife, plants, and restoration efforts at ONP to volunteer at the Preserve to greet visitors, help answer questions, and led a tour from time to time. Some topics can learn about include: Lake Apopka, native plants and wildlife, land restoration, and ONP history. Learn one topic or all of them! ONP also offers workdays every Monday and/or Saturday.
