Mitchell…Tall, Dark, Handsome, and let’s not forget, Playful! Say hello to the stunning Mitchell! He looks like he’s posing for a portrait in his picture…but he’s really all about love and having fun. Mitchell was rescued by Houndhaven from a Central Florida humane society, and has been showing his enthusiastic appreciation from day one.
Mitchell is a one year old, black lab mix. He weighs 67 pounds, although he thinks we said 6 or 7 pounds because he believes he’s something of a lap dog when he cuddles with the volunteers. Mitchell has beautiful amber eyes, long legs, and a fun loving personality. Although his life hit a bumpy road before Houndhaven, you’d never know with his happy-go-lucky style.
Mitchell loves to play and has been having a grand time with his furry Houndhaven friends. Not only is he handsome, Mitchell is rather smart too. He knows “sit”, “lay down”, “look”, and he’s so happy and eager to please that he is sure to learn more if given the opportunity. He does great with baths, loves playing with toys, and enjoys a game of “chase the lizard”, as any fun loving pup should!
Mitchell is a wonderful, funny, loving boy who is looking for an active family to love, entertain, and keep busy. He loves to snuggle and give kisses, run and play, and show you that he’s a good boy. All he asks for in return is a forever home, forever love, and a forever family. If you’re ready to have Mitchell join your party, please visit www.houndhaven.org to review our adoption policies and procedures, and complete an application.
