The crowd enjoys steel band music at beautiful Clermont Waterfront Park at last year’s festival
June is Caribbean Heritage Month…come immerse yourself in the tastes and sounds of island life at the Fourth Annual Taste of the Caribbean & Jerk Festival—no passport needed. The Caribbean American Association of Lake County (CAALC) hosts this fun event on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Clermont Waterfront Park from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. There’ll be something for everyone!
Admission is $7 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Parking is free.
Expect a feast for all your senses: Caribbean cuisine, a Jerk Cook-off competition, live reggae music, gospel and steel bands, Afro-Caribbean and Indian dancers. Featuring 506 crew, DJ Phayz (Vibrant Soundz WOKB 1680am) bringing music from around the world (Latin, Chutney, Calypso, Soca, Soul, Jazz, and more), dominoes, games, Kid’s Zone, arts & crafts and much more!
